Sunekos® Skin Booster Treatment

Unlike other dermal filler treatments, Sunekos contains a unique combination of amino acids and hyaluronic acid to stimulate fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin. Fibroblasts are essential skin cells that play a key role in maintaining skin health – one of their primary functions is to produce collagen, elastin and other proteins that provide the skin with strength, elasticity and support. Sunekos is ideal for those who want to restore a radiant and youthful glow, regenerate a dull complexion, improve signs of ageing with natural results and protect their skin against future damage. There are different Sunekos® ranges, each suitable to specific needs of patients and physiological characteristics of the skin, from pronounced skin sagging and deep wrinkles to mild signs of ageing on the face, neck, décolleté and hands

Hyaluronic acid + amino acids: a powerful duo

Hyaluronic acid, renowned for its incredible moisture-retaining capabilities, works to deeply hydrate the skin from within, resulting in a plump and radiant complexion. Meanwhile, amino acids, the essential building blocks of proteins, contribute to the natural synthesis of collagen and elastin for more skin elasticity and firmness. This combination not only addresses fine lines, wrinkles and laxity but also promotes a holistic approach to rejuvenation, addressing many concerns at once to improve the skin’s appearance as a whole.

Who is a good candidate for Sunekos®?

This treatment is a great option for those with crepey, thin skin, overall facial volume loss or premature signs of ageing. Sunekos also helps with dark eye circles, sun damage, loss of radiance and overall skin quality. This is a truly versatile product that treats and prevents most skin concerns related to the natural ageing process and environmental stressors.

Are Sunekos® injections painful?
This treatment is considered to be very comfortable overall with the vast majority of patients feeling no to minimal discomfort. Any stinging or warmth felt during the injections will quickly subside after treatment.

How many sessions are needed?

For best results, it’s recommended a course of at least 3 treatments but this varies based on the patient’s current skin condition, concerns and goals.

When will I see results?

Most patients will start to notice skin improvements after one session, with results gradually becoming more and more visible after each treatment. Full results are expected after approximately 3 months.

What is the downtime associated with Sunekos®?

The procedure is minimally invasive and requires little to no downtime. Although it’s possible to experience mild bruising or swelling at the injection area, most patients carry on with their daily activities straight after their appointment.

What is the difference between Sunekos® and traditional dermal fillers?
Traditional dermal fillers are mainly used to add volume and contour to specific areas of the face, and once the swelling subsides, results are visible straight away. Sunekos® will stimulate your own body’s production of collagen and elastin, so results are more subtle and gradual. Skin quality will improve over time, making Sunekos® more suitable for full face rejuvenation, while traditional dermal fillers are best applied in localised areas such as lip augmentation, cheek or chin enhancements and others.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?
The choice depends on your individual objectives, concerns, and the guidance of a skilled practitioner. During the pre-treatment consultation with Nurse Julie, patients can clarify any questions and make an informed decision about their cosmetic procedures. Nurse Julie will also evaluate their facial anatomy and overall skin condition such as laxity, extent of volume loss in certain areas and depth of creases, wrinkles and fine lines so she can recommend the best treatment for each case.
